Week 6

This week I was really busy. I attended a combination of Pride Nights and Juneteenth events. First, I attended PNC Park's Pride Night I was able to get into the press box and witness all the events they had going on for the special occasion. Then, I attend the WPA Juneteenth celebration downtown as well as its parade. It was a very beautiful sight. I was able to learn about many organizations that I never heard of before. Finally, I attended Arts as Liberation at PNC Park. They showcased many black artists for the public to see, buy, and enjoy. This was very exhausting, but I enjoyed being able to give a platform to events that not enough news outlets will cover.
